Even if they were only attacking the government, Nigeria seems to be a democratic country. It is very important to view violent attacks on governments where there is democratic system and protection for basic rights in countries like Nigeria and Iraq and anywhere else the same way we see them here and other western countries. Unless one can suggest a more just system, this is the standard that needs to be applied firmly and uniformly the same way all over the world for the sake of justice and order.
